As a school we continue to develop ways to have regular and open communication with all stakeholders in the school, including children, governors and parents. Currently each half term we hold a SEND coffee morning supported by one of the Mid Tendring Education Partnership Family Support Workers – Charissa Debnam.
We have now introduced a regular parent forum which allows parents to have a voice in supporting and promoting the children’s learning and to help us find out what you think about important issues. On occasions the forum will also be held jointly with a representative from the senior leadership team from the Infants’ School. The forum is not a place to address specific concerns about an individual child – such issues should still be discussed with your child’s class teacher, Miss Bonner or myself.
Meetings will take place half termly with an agenda prepared in advance and circulated by email. Ideally we would like to have 2 representatives per year group and ideally 1 from each class. Members of the senior leadership team and a representative from the Board of Governors will also attend meetings.
If you are interested in attending future meetings or would like more information please contact Mrs Daniel in the school office on 01206 822893 or firstname.lastname@example.org
