At Broomgrove Junior School, Physical Education and Sport have a vital role to play in the physical, social and emotional development of our pupils. This gives children the knowledge, understanding, confidence and skills to make a positive impact on their own health and well-being for their time at school and through into adult life.
We took part in the National Santa Dash. Many of the children ran a mile and even some of the teachers managed it too.
The girls at this after-school club have chosen to play Dodgeball. Watch out for the ball!
During Healthy Eating Week, we were set a challenge to be active in different ways during playtimes. Some found out who could skip the longest or make the highest number of passes, whilst others ran the Golden Mile.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
